uh huh. I think it was in pursuit of an obscure BJ album that I first discovered Young Moss Tongue. Was stunned to find his entire (I think) discography. And the Fall too! I thought I was the only person perverse enough to be fanatical about 2 such disparate artists. And many other discoveries followed. Good times.

YoungMossTongue helped me make better music. And you’re blameless for my crap bits.
It made me giddy w/girlish glee to have my music on YMT.
Being name checked by MES wouldnt have been better. (yeah, in “what you need” maybe.–No- better : listed after “who stole the cafe’s collection box” in Man whose Head Expanded.
it made me proud. particularily because YMT was my people. atheist, the fall, microdisney, mekons, magazine (shit! i’ve started listing the contents! Must break it off.. pull up! pull up!)and lovely things i’d never heard of.
